Merry Christmas!

With Christmas almost upon us, I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful and Merry Christmas. This time of year I am so thankful for the blessings of friends and family that has been given to me by God and I am so reminded of his love. I hope where ever this message finds you that you are celebrating with friends and family and can feel our Savior's love! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What more could I ask for than a Saturday filled with sledding with friends and cheering on the Pokes. It is great fun cheering for my team even though I am proud and a little sad to annouce as of the new year I will be the newest CSU student in the family. I have for a long time been seeking a masters and we are so blessed that I found it close to Kev at the CSU Occupational Therapy Department! I hope that I can update the blog more to bring more news about the wedding and more school things. We are excited to say that as of today the Save the Dates have been placed in the mail. I hope this finds everyone happy and getting ready to celebrate an awesome Holiday Season with friends and family!

Now I know I had promised pics of the engagemtn party but sadly they are not on my camera so I have to wait for others to send them to me. But I thought to celebrate the start of college football this upcoming weekend I would post one of my favorite engagement pictures!

This week although the first week of school was the best. I couldn't have asked for better students or for them to fall into our routine as quickly as they have. I feel so blessed to work with such amazing people as I do at The Open School and feel as if I have found a home there.

I think Kev and I have found once again our weekend routine of traveling to each other and trying to squeeze every last minute out of the weekends wherever we end up. We have also found that with fall we are busier than ever whether that be trying to go to our teams games, volunteering for Special Olympics or attending a friend's party or wedding.

It always seems as the seasons change so do our schedules but I am thankful that we are both rooted by our love of each other and our faith. Hopefully there will be more pics soon!

Nebraska, Classroom, Teaching and Parties

I can't believe that we are back in the season where our life seems to go so fast that it takes my breath away somedays. This last week Jessie and I spent time with Teresa, Brian and their sweet girl (which I will post pictures of as soon as I steal them from Jessie). We also went wedding dress shopping, saw Codi get married to Dale (pictures are forthcoming) and now it is back to my disaster of a classroom which looks like bulletin boarder expoloded in it and lesson plans. It seems that summer is never long enough and I worry that I didn't get enough done with the wedding to be less stressed this year as I push teaching to the forefront and wedding the the back. However I have to admit the dorkyness in me is very excited to be setting up my classroom and praying for those kids who I get to teach in less than a month! I hope everyone is enjoying the last bit of summer. This weekend is Kev and I's engagement party so that the bridal party can get to know each other so I will post later pictures of this fun event!

Well I know that life throws us curves and that a lot of friends and family are spread from a few minutes away to hours away.
